We live in 21st century and shouldn’t life be exciting and full of colors? Yes, that is why I welcome you again to my closet. This time I am going to tell you about my love for gender-neutral clothes and what I have inside my closet. I would also like to help newbies by giving them some useful tips. Let’s get inside my closet first.
My closet is full of gender-neutral clothing item because I feel quite comfortable in it. If you are also a fan of gender-neutral clothes, then welcome to my wardrobe because your love for unisex clothes will surely increase.
Oversized T-shirts
I have plenty of oversized T-shirts in different colors and style. Oversized T-shirts are quite comfortable to wear, and they bring the best in me. I just love them as I can wear them with jeans or baggy pants and they always look cool.
Boyfriend Jeans
My wardrobe also has three boyfriend jeans because I can wear them with oversized T-shirts, simple shirts and cardigans. I don’t want to show my curves or feminine legs and hence I have three boyfriend jeans in my closet.
Black Leather Jacket
A black leather jack without fitting is present in my closet because it is life saver in winters. Not only it looks good, but it also keeps me warm without compromising my gender-neutral clothing style.
Loose Fit Sweaters
My gender-neutral wardrobe also has loose fit sweaters with V-neck. You can pair loose fit sweaters with regular jeans or pants, just make sure they are not skinny at all.
Dress Shoes and Boots
My closet has different styles of boots and shoes because they make me feel comfortable and don’t look feminine. You can pair dress shoes with formal wear and shoes/snickers with casual wear.
Black Leather Belts and Large sized wrist watch
Other items that you would find in my closets are black leather belts and large sized wristwatches. Black leather belts and wristwatches give me perfect androgynous look.
I have plenty of other items as well, but it is best that I would give you helpful trick if you are going to start buying unisex clothing items or have just started.
Choose Right Colors
Choosing right colors is important while purchasing unisex clothing items. Always stick to neutral tones like black, grey and white. You can also buy colorful items but starting with neutrals would surely help you.
Alter your outfits
Not everyone is blessed to find perfect size and hence altering clothes is recommended. If you think your pants are loose from waist or thigh area, then give them for alteration as you can’t always find a perfect size. I give my pants for tailoring and alteration.
Boat Neckline
A boat neckline is good for androgynous looks specially if the t-shirt is oversized. Shirts with boat necklines would greatly help you in trying unisex looks.
Brands with different sizes
Always try brands that have variety of sizes available, so you don’t have to alter your clothes. It would save both time and money.
